I can't quite sum  up how thrilled I am to be teaching this school year at Midtown Elementary.  This year will be my 4th year at Midtown.  With 15 years of teaching experience under my belt, including coursework in English Language (EL) from the University of Georgia and a gifted certification, I am thrilled to be your scholar’s 5th-grade teacher this 2025-2026 school year.

My journey in education has been fueled by a passion for nurturing young minds, which I have further solidified with my master's degree in education and my current pursuit of national board certification. I am committed to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment filled with innovative experiences that will not only challenge your scholar but will also inspire a love for learning.

My goal is for each scholar to grow, receive, and achieve their fullest potential this year.
