My name is Coach Austin Burke, my wife is Katie Burke she is a nurse at Huntsville Hospital. I went to Talladega High School and graduated in 2009. I graduated with a batchelor's degree in Horticulture and master's degree in Ag Education from Auburn University. I began my career at Munford high school, and then spent the next three years at Hazel Green High school. This will be my second year as a Jet.

My philosophy is to help students achieve their goals through learning in the world of agriculture and construction. I hope to help students become better workers/learners while also becoming better people. I intend to be a positive educational influence while at the same time hold a firm grip on my classroom. This will make for the most fortunate learning environment for my students and myself as well. My students will get hands on experience of some kind in this class. Also, to show students that the world of construction is not just wearing a hard hat and swinging a hammer.
