Mr. Adam Sweatman

Mr. Adam Sweatman is a dedicated educator and leader who brings both passion and experience to his work in the classroom and on the field. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics from Athens State University in Athens, Alabama, and recently completed a Master’s in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. He is currently pursuing an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Principalship from Arkansas State University, further demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and educational leadership.

With 12 years of teaching experience, Mr. Sweatman began his career at Central Elementary and Grissom High School before joining Discovery Middle School, where he continues to inspire students through engaging instruction and a strong commitment to academic success. Beyond teaching, he has made a lasting impact through his extensive coaching background in wrestling, football, and baseball. He currently serves as an assistant baseball coach, where he helps student-athletes develop their skills, discipline, and teamwork.

Mr. Sweatman’s mission is to foster student growth, achievement, and character development, while continuing to grow as an instructional leader within the Madison City Schools community.
