Impact Aid Survey
  • Dear MCS Parents,

Today (October 16, 2025) begins our annual Impact Aid survey collection process.  It is very important that every parent takes a moment to complete the electronic Impact Aid Parent-Pupil Survey for each student in the district.

You will receive an email with the subject: Madison City Schools District - Impact Aid!

This email will contain a unique link to a form for your student. If you have multiple students in the district, you will receive an email for each student. Each student has a unique link assigned to their form. Please make sure to complete the form for each of your students using the link provided in the email.

We appreciate your cooperation. Since the district began participating in Impact Aid in 1999, we have received close to $6 million in Federal Impact Aid funds and $15 million in related grant funds—ALL because of this survey and your participation in completing it. This funding goes directly back to instruction to supplement teaching and learning for all our MCS students.

Here are some examples of how Impact Aid and DoDEA funding have been used by Madison City Schools: math coaches, health science manikins, college and career counselors, teacher professional development, National Board training, math manipulatives, student instructional supplies, and much more.

In this brief video, Dr. Nichols will explain a little more about Impact Aid and its benefits to our district.

Thank you for supporting our students!
