I am thrilled to serve as the 6th Grade School Counselor at Journey Middle School. This year marks my twenty-fourth year in education. I began my career with Madison County Schools in 2003 and joined Madison City Schools in 2017.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Athens State University, a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, and an Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama.

Helping students discover, develop, and build upon their unique strengths and interests has always been a passion of mine. As the 6th Grade School Counselor, my goal is to support students as they transition to middle school while fostering their academic, social, emotional, and personal growth. 

I am excited for all that the 2026–2027 school year will bring and look forward to the many opportunities ahead for our students, staff, and families. Please do not hesitate to reach out if I can be of assistance.
