A Journey to Excellence
The Journey Middle School Cheer Team is on a true Journey to Excellence. Our dedicated and passionate student-athletes proudly represent our school through competitive cheerleading while energizing crowds at school athletic events. We are committed to excellence, character, and school pride—on the mat, on the sidelines, and in our community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire, unite, and empower the Journey Middle School community by promoting school spirit, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We strive to be positive role models on and off the floor, emphasizing dedication, perseverance, accountability, and a commitment to excellence. Through cheerleading, we aim to create meaningful experiences, lasting friendships, and lifelong leadership skills.
Our Journey to Success
The Journey Middle School Cheer Team is more than a team—we are a family. Our athletes train with purpose, support one another, and grow together through hard work and determination. Every practice, performance, and competition reflects our belief that success is achieved through unity, discipline, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
What We Do
Competitions
Our team competes in local and regional cheerleading competitions, proudly showcasing our skills, precision, and energy. Through rigorous training and focused preparation, we deliver performances that reflect our teamwork, resilience, and school pride.
Game Day Spirit
You’ll find us on the sidelines at in-county football games, leading the crowd and supporting our athletes. Our cheers, stunts, and routines are designed to create a positive, high-energy atmosphere and represent Journey Middle School with pride and sportsmanship.
Community Engagement
We believe in serving beyond the sidelines. Our cheerleaders participate in community service projects throughout the year, supporting local organizations and school initiatives while learning the value of leadership, responsibility, and giving back.

Tryouts are held each February.
