Hello! My name is Troy Dufford, and I am a member of the science team here at Journey. I have been here since the second semester of Journey's first year. This year I am teaching 6th and 7th grade science. I am originally from Covington, Georgia but went to middle and high school in Columbia, South Carolina before moving to Huntsville for college. I love science and teaching others about all the scientific concepts that interest me. Outside of school, I love being active and involved with sports. Throughout my time in college, I played all kinds of intramural sports but fell in love with volleyball, which I still play several times a week. I am so excited to make science class as fun and engaging as possible for all students!
