I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Auburn University for my undergraduate degree. I earned my Masters in Clinical Lab Science in 2012 and my Masters in Teaching in 2018. My husband and I have lived in Madison since 2013, and we have 2 boys who also attend Madison City Schools. 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family exploring all that Madison and Huntsville have to offer! We enjoy going to the Children's Museum, the Space and Rocket Center, and the many farmers' markets on Saturday mornings. Some of my favorite things include listening to music and spending time at the lake with family. 

In addition to teaching, I'm an assistant coach for JC girls soccer and teacher sponsor for the National Science Honor Society.
