Hello! My name is Neil Clement, and I am so glad to be here! 

The first thing you should know about me is that I love teaching. My goal is to help each student grow and flourish, and I find great joy in exploring the world through literature with my classes. I hold a BA in English and Philosophy from Covenant College, an MAT in Comprehensive English Education from Western Carolina University, and I am a National Board Certified Educator. Originally from Birmingham, I began my teaching career in the fall of 2016 at Asheville High in Asheville, North Carolina, where I served for six years as an English and Speech & Debate teacher.

I moved to Madison in the summer of 2022 with my wife, Paige, and my daughter. In 2024, we welcomed our second child. I'm proud to be a Jet, and look forward to meeting all of my new students!

This year, I'm teaching: English 9; English 9 Pre-AP; Literature, Mythology, and Fable; and Public Speaking.
