First thing's first: yes, that's me and Amy Adams.

I love everything about movies. I love watching them, talking about them, and making them. Hopefully, you do too. We've spent years tirelessly building an incredible film department at James Clemens that has sent students to many film programs including SCAD, Auburn, Alabama, USC, and Yale. We travel from coast to coast screening and competing with the amazing talent of our students. And because of this, we are considered one of the premiere film academies in the country.

I have been a part of the Madison City School System for some time. Graduating from Bob Jones in 1995, I received a Bachelor’s degree in English with secondary and middle school certification from the University of Central Arkansas, and a Master's degree in Education Media from Auburn University.  I began my teaching career at the same middle school I attended as a student: Liberty. I was a part of the faculty at Liberty Middle School since 2002, teaching such courses as English 9, Honor’s English 9, Freshman Composition, and Mass Media. I was also the yearbook adviser at Liberty (2004-2012) and the SGA sponsor (2008-2012). Now at James Clemens, I teach Intro to TV Production and Advanced TV Production (JetsPress).
