My name is Mrs. Edwards and I am so excited to teach sixth grade this year! I have lived in the Huntsville area all my life and graduated from Sparkman High School in 2016. After high school, I attended the University of North Alabama until I graduated in December 2019 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After four years away from home, I was very happy to be back in the Madison community. I received my Class B certificate in Social Studies 6-12 in 2022 and began working on my master's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies 6-12 in 2023. I am currently on track to graduate in December 2024. I have been teaching third grade at Mill Creek Elementary School for the past four years. This is my first year teaching middle school and I will be teaching sixth grade US History. I absolutely loved teaching elementary, but am very excited to make this big change this year!

In my free time, my husband and I love to go hiking, camping, swimming, or anything else outdoors. We love to travel and are always on the go. No kids yet, but we do have a dog named Cujo.
