-Graduated from UAH in 2003 with a B.A. in English and Political Science -Graduated from UAH in 2007 with a M.A. in English and Education - Graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2013 with an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. - Became a Nationally Board Certified teacher in 2017.

Experience
- I began teaching at Liberty Middle School in 2008. I have experience in teaching high school and middle school in advanced, regular, and inclusion settings.
- I am the Scholars Bowl sponsor.
Bio
- I am an Army brat. I was born in Fort Lee, Virginia and have traveled throughout the world.
- I love reading, which makes sense since I am an English teacher.
- I am a huge music fan. I have played piano since I was 4 years old. I was also in band and choir throughout school.
- I am married with one lovely stepdaughter and a very handsome cat.
- I love nature. I spend as much time as possible outside! I hope you go on the Camp McDowell field trip with me!
- What we do in class every day is Important Work. We practice being our best selves every day!
