Education

My name is Sara Tolleson and I have been teaching 6th grade ELA at Liberty Middle School for 7 years. I love getting to be a part of the student's introduction to middle school and help set a foundation for them. I am a product of Madison City Schools and am thankful I get to continue the legacy of excellence that I grew up with. I attended West Madison, Liberty Middle, and Bob Jones High School.

I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Language Arts. In 2024, I attained National Board Certification.

Outside of school, I love playing with my kitten, Heidi, reading, and watching tv! I love to try new restaurants and coffee shops around town & travel to visit my friends.
